You had to really try and conserve your breath and find a relaxing, meditative place to go in between the cameras rolling and shooting because you really didn't have a choice. Once you go down to shoot, you're down there. We would go until our tanks ran out, which, depending on how much we were exerting ourselves, could be an hour to an hour and a half. How deep underwater were you? Moore: We were never more than 20 feet deep.
Then we shot some of the exteriors and the more surface shots in the Dominican Republic. Holt: We shot at the bottom of the ocean in a tank in London. You guys actually filmed this underwater. It's the most terrifying premise I can think of. You didn't want to do it in the first place. You have no idea what all this equipment is. Moore: I feel like I would have been in that same position. My character in particular really just broke all of the rules. You're not supposed to have this labored, hyperventilated breathing.
